HipHopA.net – Closed

Sorry for this mad joke, but today us 3 fucking years!!!

And no, we are not closed!

Today, the site is exactly 3 years from the date of full launch. A lot of things happened during this time. There were ups and downs, but basically, of course, you can modestly declare that we are at the forefront of hip-hop music. Dozens of communities, groups, on Facebook and VKontakte feed on our releases. There were several clones of the site, we were even hacked somehow, even now there are several sites that use my publications to redirect people to endless links with advertising, but I can’t do anything about it.

A little bit about all:

I am not the full owner of the site, but almost here from the very beginning and intercepted the baton. Every day (with rare exceptions) for 3 years, there is not a single resource that would upload as many rap releases as we do. EVERYDAY!!! Workaholics or idiots, you decide)) Constantly in the search for a balance between convenience for visitors and at least some personal benefit. Therefore, we tried a bunch of shorteners, many closed, silently deleted our accounts and so on. I myself, for a long time, when I was young, downloaded the latest releases from similar sites, and still hate a system with paid file hosting services, so we don’t have a turbo bit and nitroflare.
Google advertising, especially recently brings $ 0.5 per day, because the copyright holders are not asleep, and recently complaints have poured on almost all releases, so we began try search another suppliers ads, the results improved, but the comfort of visits certainly decreased. Old users will probably remember how often the pages open per 10 seconds, lags, now there is none, because we pay for a host with the best equipment, there are also costs for various subscriptions and stuff to deliver the latest releases to you.
Now let’s remember the rappers who sell releases for $ 20-100. or a Mach Hommy with lah-herz for $ 1000, though I don’t know if this price was originally, but I don’t criticize them, their music – is their price. As a result, the number of rare albums directly depends on the number of ads played.
Meanwhile, I’m already over 30 years old (old man 😀 ), I have a wife and a child, and I just can’t spend a lot of time leaving my family without gifts)))) No matter how I love it all.
I live in a rich country with a poor population, so we have an average salary of $ 200, and this is not a joke.
In the meantime, for all the time was support donate by 1 person from Russia. Therefore, my plan has ripened that if we can find an acceptable system of monetization, then we will be a little in the black and perhaps we can at least occasionally upload various expensive things. If it doesn’t work out, there is also a plan to become a closed site only for premium users, but these will be extreme measures.

It seems to have clarified everything, now about the good. It is very likely that this summer we will finally begin to make rips from spotify, me will also need to buy software. There is a very distant plan for creating a site with other genres, maybe a clone, let’s see how events will be develop.

For those who read to the end: I was thinking about a small gift for you for $ 50, about the album engmtk, many asked, but it’s 8 minutes, better i think support normal artists, suggest me in comments or in private messages. Main rule, albums must be not leaked

Thank you very much to everyone for spending time with me, we are all united by hip-hop, I have been following him for more than 20 years. Special thanks to regular visitors with requests, you create playlists for many people, not just yours. And often I discover various interesting artists, thanks to you. Meet me again, and more than once.
